This book is easy to read and very interesting. A large percentage of the book is quotes from unschooling families, relating their experiences with unschooling. This makes the book very down-to-earth and useful. Mary Griffith discusses the issues that unschoolers (or those considering unschooling) are most interested in. Some of these issues include whether or not to use TV as a resource, how to tell if your child is learning, and how unschoolers deal with learning reading and math.
