Remedies for Morning Sickness

I'm hoping we can discuss possible remedies for morning sickness...especially since I've been fighting it from the beginning and losing the battle horribly! Here are some of the things I've tried to no avail so far... New Chapter's Ginger Wonder syrup, Alfalfa tablets (to help balance my body's pH), keeping up with water consumption, getting enough sleep, eating a variety of fresh fruits and veggies. So, any tried and true remedies?

One of the only things that really helped me was lemonade full of ice chips - I assauged my guilt with buying organic Santa Cruz lemonade.
YES YES YES YES YES!!!! Organic Santa Cruz was my saviour once the morning sickness abated to the point that I could hold down liquids!
I *lived* on all things lemon my entire pregnancy. I fell totally in love with Tropicana's lemonade ice bars. Yum. I know, high sugar and big corporation, but soo good. To make up for it, I often just took a bunch of lemons, squeezed them into a glass and drank the juice without sugar. That was just as good.
Keep your blood sugar level, which means eating frequently - like every 2-3 hours. Keep a protein bar or peanut butter on toast by your toilet and eat a bit when you get up to pee in the middle of the night helps, too. Lemon - the smell, or sometimes lemonade. Papaya enzymes. Ginger tea mixed with slippery elm. Wild Yam tincture. B6 three times a day. Peppermint - tea, candies, etc. Motion sickness bands. Acupuncture. Chiropractic adjustments. I have heard Unisom with B6 works great, but I've never tried it.
The motion sickness bands actually helped me - I was still nauseous, but they brought the nausea down to a level where I could cope with it. Peppermint oil - I just sniffed it. I despise the taste of peppermint, but the smell would sometimes help counter a particularly intense wave of nausea. I used this in labor too. I ate whatever I could stand - to hell with diet. I had a couple weeks where most of what I ate was pancakes with berries. My midwife said protein would help prevent nausea - feel free to try it, but it didn't work for me. Good luck and {{{hugs}}}, this too will pass.
Most of my ideas have already been mentioned: lemons, B6, ginger, eating small amounts of food frequently, instead of "big" meals, etc. But truth be told, none of those things really helped me. I was sick all day every day for the entire 9 months, so I just really wanted to let you know that I sympathize with you and hope you are feeling better soon! And if you find something that works, let me know for next time!!
I was the same way and my midwife suggested something that helped. When it got overwelming leave the house - take a mini vacation. The change of scenery actually seems to help! Wierd but true!
This definitely helped me after a certain point. We went to the ocean at one point and it didn't make any difference, but around 4-5 months we went to Disneyland at I felt enormously better there - and barfed outside our car in the parking lot when we came back home. Go figure.
Altoids (the curiously strong mint, can find it at most drug stores) and Lemon Oil (aromatherapy).
I had all day sickness for 20 weeks and it was hell. {{{HUGS}}} Nothing helped me but my sickness had a lot to do with my thyroid problems not regular morning sickness. That said I tried everything including B6 shots... the only thing that brought any relief was accupuncture so I'd recommend trying that if you've tried everything else.
When I was pregnant my midwife loaned me a book on morning sickness. I'll sum it up for you: focus on what you're craving and eat it, regardless of what that is. Even if nothing sounds appealing, start thinking of different kinds of foods, beginning with various categories (salty, sweet, fatty, etc.) and narrowing it down until you find something that sounds good. Then eat it no matter what it is. (One of mine was Jello!) Don't worry about eating only healthy foods--often a bit of the weird stuff you find yourself wanting will help you feel better enough to eat something healthy.
